Randy and Emily’s Farm Tale: Nurturing Roots, Sowing Dreams

Welcome to our farm.

Nestled in Sisters, Oregon, our family farm is a living tapestry woven with tales from our childhood in seperate corners of our home state– hours driving tractors, the magic and mud of lambing seasons, and the warmth of sun-soaked hours weeding in the gardens. While city lights beckoned to both of us briefly, Randy discovered his calling as a firefighter paramedic nearPortland, and Emily embarked on a journey through six western states before finding her way back to Oregon. In uncanny parallels, our lives eventually intertwined, unveiling a shared dedication to raising our three daughters (Avery 14, Luella 11, and Eleanor 10) close to the land. Juggling both farm and professional responsibilities, we actively involve our children in community life through church, 4H, and a myriad of sports and activities.

Balancing the roles of firefighter and public health manager, we diligently cultivate our dream farm. Offering orchard grass hay, lamb, and beef, our farm family expands to welcome Kune Kune pigs, joining our ensemble of beef, chickens, turkeys, Herford cows, and sheep. Randy also offers custom farming for neighbors.
Amidst the hustle, Emily discovers profound joy in summer evenings, crafting meals solely from the fruits of our labor. Our farm is more than cultivation; it symbolizes an unwavering commitment to a sustainable lifestyle. Rooted in sustainable agriculture, we extend the spirit of sharing through farmers’ markets and the creation of homegrown meals.
